Evergreen hosts Kitchenette Activity

The students of Evergreen Senior Secondary School, Vasundhara Enclave, took part in a Kitchenette activity titled CHOCOLA as part of an ISA project.

Class III students donned their chef caps and exhibited their culinary skills. They presented their scrumptious, mouth watering chocolate dishes. The jury members were overwhelmed by the efforts of the budding chefs. Aditya Srivastava stood first, Swarit S. Saran won the second prize while Satya Mukund & Ankush Sharma shared the third prize.

Special jury award was given to Idhika Verma. The event provided a platform to the children to use their minds and skills.

It is only through labour and painful effort, by grim energy and resolute courage, we move on to better things. Evergreen Senior secondary School observed May Day to express solidarity towards our helpers specially the working class with blue collar jobs. A class assembly was conducted in which significance of this International Labour Day was presented   through a skit. A well woven theme, revolving around Metro line workers was enacted which highlighted dignity of labour. Thereafter a scintillating German dance was performed by the students celebrating the social and economic achievements of labours and their contribution towards infrastructural growth and development. The event concluded with a speech to evoke a sense of respect for our supporting staff.

CBSE Regional Level Science Exhibition 2017 - 18

           REGIONAL LEVEL SCIENCE EXHIBITION 2017-2018    Evergreen Sr. Sec. School, Vasundhara Enclave, Delhi, hosted the CBSE Regional Level Science Exhibition 2017-18 from January 10-12, 2018 at the school premises. The exhibition was inaugrated by Hon’ble Mayor, EDMC, Ms. Neema Bhagat. Dr. Shweta Singh, Joint Director CBSE , Dr. B.C. Sabata, Sr. Scientific Officer, Department of Environment, Government of Delhi and Mrs. Muneesh Thukral, Founder and Manager of the school also graced the occasion. The welcome address was presented by the host school Principal Ms. Priyanka Gulati. The participants were motivated by the inspirational address by the dignitaries. The theme this year was innovation for Sustainable Development. More than 85 schools showcased around 139 exhibits, clearly highlighting the scientific acumen of budding scientists.
