Atithi Devo Bhava - An ISA activity

Evergreen Senior Secondary School Vasundhara Enclave organised an educational trip for class 7th students to Jantar Mantar, Agrasen Ki Baoli and Humayun’s Tomb. The trip was a part of ISA activity under the banner Atithi Devo Bhava. The trip was organised to make the students understand the importance of our heritage and also to admire the structural beauty of the monuments and its historic implication. Our heritage sites are relics of past which the students should realise and take the responsibility to preserve it for future.

The student not only visited the places but also conducted interviews with foreign visitors visiting India. They had prepared questionnaires related to the topic Atithi Devo Bhava at school and got it filled by the visitors visiting the historic places. The students also conducted a signature campaign to motivate the Indian people who visited the sites to adopt a more responsible attitude towards our monuments and to preserve them for future generation. The students conducted the activity with full zeal and enthusiasm.
